Desert Skyz Management

Desert Skyz Management is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Owned and operated by Parnell "Buddy" Carpenter. Buddy's career in the music industry has spanned over 3 decades. During this time Buddy has made many friends and contacts in the industry. From 1973 - 1993 Buddy was the Tour and Business Manager for The Marshall Tucker Band. Buddy directed and performed the business affairs of a multi-million dollar organization. Responsibilities included, booking performance dates, recording sessions and travel arrangements. The day to day operations included:

Promoted and "sold" band to record companies, outdoor ventures, major club, recreation center and entertainment / sports facilities.

Co-ordinated all marketing to include print and electronic media publicity.

Negotiated contracts, established payroll, hired and trained band and support personnel and ensured accurate financial reports.

Created and monitored budgets.

Conducted purchasing and payable duties.

Travel and promotional venues included the entire United States and Western Europe.

In 1995 Buddy started Desert Skyz Management for the purpose of maintaining and managing the careers of up and coming artists in the entertainment field. Desert Skyz Management works closely with many people in the music industry in Nashville and has gained the knowledge it takes to help artists trying to make it in the myriad of others pursuing their dreams.
